Does The Sony a6000 Work With Imaging Edge Webcam?

💡 While the Sony a6000 is a very popular mirrorless camera, unfortunately it does not work with the Imaging Edge Webcam software. 

Luckily there are other ways to use the Sony a6000 as a webcam.

If you do want to use your Sony a6000 as a streaming device, then don’t worry because there are alternate ways to use your Sony a6000 as a webcam. 

You can use a HDMI capture card like the Elgato Cam Link 4K to use the Sony A6000 as a HDMI webcam.

Other Cameras Compatible With Imaging Edge Webcam

The product code/name for the Sony a6000 is ILCE-6000.

As you can see from the screenshot below, the ILCE-6000 does not show up in the list of compatible cameras for Imaging Edge Webcam.
