The smaller end of the cable should go into the micro USB port on the side of the Canon G7X Mark II.

The other end should go into your main power source.

Your power source can be something like a portable power bank, a computer or a USB wall charger which can plug in to your mains electricity.

When you’ve plugged in your USB correctly a light should light up on your camera to show that the camera is charging.

Try using a computer first to see if it works. If not you can try buying a wall charger or power bank like the ones below.

We will include the recommended wall charger for the G7X Mark II below as well as some third party options for both power banks and wall chargers.

The main thing you want to look for is that the wall charger has at least one standard USB-A port for one end of your IFC-600PCU cable to go into. A USB-A port is the rectangular shaped USB port that you find on most laptops and computers.

The video below shows an example of somebody charging their G7X Mark II using a third party power bank.
